Mining Technician from the Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN). Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) and master’s student in the Postgraduate course in Chemical Engineering in the same institution.
Developed projects related to advanced materials and carbon dioxide (CO2) conversion. At the end of her undergraduate studies, she carried out a year of internship at the Université de Sherbrooke (UDeS) in the province of Quebec, Canada, where she worked in Power-To-X technologies. Mayara’s work focused on the utilization of green hydrogen, Power-To-X technologies, e-methanol production, and other value-added products with low carbon intensity. During her research internship, she worked on the assembly and operation of batch and continuous systems for the conversion of green hydrogen and CO2 into e-methanol or synthesis gas (syngas), besides, she developed different synthesis protocols for heterogeneous catalysts for application in these systems. During the operation, she analyzed both gaseous and solids (catalyst) samples.
– BSc. In Chemical Engineering (Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte/Brazil);
– Master’s graduate student in Chemical Engineering (Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte/Brazil).
