Degree in Electrical Engineering from UFRN (2004), Master in Electrical Engineering (2010) and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (2013). He is currently Associate Professor II at the Federal Rural University of Semiárido, of the Electrical Engineering Course at UFERSA and Full / Permanent Professor, for 12 years of the Postgraduate Program in Electrical Engineering (PPGEE / UFERSA) and Research Productivity Scholarship – Level C, since 2018 (CA-Microelectronics from CNPq). Effective Associate, for 11 years (n 661) of the Brazilian Society of Microwaves and Optoelectronics (SBMO), Effective Associate of the Brazilian Society of Microelectronics (SBMicro) and Senior Member of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society, MTTS. He also currently holds the position of Vice Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering (PPGEE/UFERSA). He is the creator and leader of the Study and Research Group in Applied Electromagnetism and Telecommunications/GEPEAT at UFERSA. Founder and tutor, since 2021, of the student chapter of IEEE – MTT-S – Microwave Theory and Techniques Society, at UFERSA. Coordinator of PPGEE/UFERSA (2017-2020 – 02 terms); Coordination of Undergraduate Courses in Electrical Engineering (2013-2014) and coordinator of several research projects and leadership capacity expressed in several master’s degree supervisions, postdoctoral supervision and initiation. He has experience in the following research areas at undergraduate and postgraduate levels: Antennas, development of planar microwave devices, characterization and electromagnetic applications of materials, application of device miniaturization techniques, device manufacturing for communications, Modeling and simulation of electronic devices for communications, data acquisition systems, embedded solutions through the use of IoT technology, biosensors for IoTH applications, circuit designs for RF communication, electronic instrumentation, numerical and computational methods and propagation of electromagnetic waves. He has won several awards for best paper at national and regional events. He participated in the organization of several international, national and regional events (IMOC, SBMO, MOMAG, PPGEE/UFERSA Workshops). Coordinator of the Microwave Laboratory (LabMicro) at UFERSA, located at the Integrated Center for Technological Innovation of the Semiarid Region CITED and the Telecommunications Laboratory (LabTel). He has an H-index of 11 Scopus.
